While working with multiple campaigns, it's hard to track every bit of performance and adjust it manually. Before, we offered an opportunity to create automated rules to help clients with that. We are taking it a step further and introducing Smart Suggestions that help identify new keywords and negatives that can be added to the campaigns to optimize their performance without any prior setup.
Where to find Smart Suggestions
You can find Smart Suggestions in a new tab that you can access from any level of SplitMetrics Acquire. A blue indicator hints at new, unprocessed suggestions that might be worth looking at.
Smart Suggestions are cards with the main information regarding proposed changes. You can choose either all suggestions or filter them by application:
Recommendations are available for each suggestion type per storefront per app, meaning that every suggestion is as relevant as possible. New suggestion cards or those that you haven't opened before will differ from others by a blue indicator and background.
Types of Smart Suggestions
Currently, suggestions are available in the keyword group. There are the following types of cards in this group:
New Keywords suggestion
This suggestion shows which good-performing or popular search terms can be added as keywords to existing campaigns.
New Negative Keywords suggestion
This suggestion helps define what non-converting or too expensive Search Terms can be added as negative keywords to the campaigns.

After clicking a suggestion card, you get useful information to help you decide on whether to implement a certain suggestion or not based on the following metrics:
Search Terms
Keywords that search terms are based on
Ad Group Name they are currently in
Campaign Name
Search Popularity
Spend
Impressions to Downloads
Downloads
CPA
Data for forming suggestions is accumulated over the last 30 days.
Implementing Smart Suggestions
To apply a suggestion:
Click the suggestion of interest.
Select the necessary Search Terms.
Choose an action: Add to keywords or Add to negative keywords.
Select Ad Groups or Campaigns to add keywords/negative keywords to.
(Optional) Set keywords CPT bids manually if you want them to be different from Ad Group Max Default CPT bid.
Click Add Keywords.
After applying suggestions to campaigns, the added search terms will still be chosen, so you can mark them as processed to remove them from the card.
Any suggested search terms can be marked as irrelevant for this app and storefront to prevent them from appearing in recommendations in the future.
If you don't want to implement the proposed suggestions but still want to receive them in the future, mark all suggestions as processed without applying them or marking them as irrelevant.

After all suggestions in the card are marked as irrelevant or processed, the respective card will disappear from the Smart Suggestions tab.
