In SplitMetrics Acquire, creating and editing rules is flexible and transparent.
Creating rules from any dashboards or the Automation page
It doesn't matter what level you are on: Ad Accounts, Apps, Campaigns, Ad Groups, Ad Group Settings, Keywords, etc.
Click Rules and select one of the four options 👇
Also, you can create a rule from the Automation page.
Applying rules to different levels
You can preview and change to which keywords the rule will be applied: all keywords or only those in the selected objects; and to what ad groups, campaigns, or apps these keywords belong.
In the example below, we are creating a rule for keywords in the selected campaigns. To see the full list of the selected campaigns, click the preview link.
Here, you can quickly edit the list if you have changed your mind!
Add more apps/campaigns/ad groups (Tip: use the search box to quickly find the ones you need) or clear those you don't need.
Note. We can edit the list of campaigns here, since in this example, we are creating a rule for keywords in the selected campaigns.
To change the level (for example, keywords in selected apps, ad groups, or all keywords), click Cancel, and you will get back to the previous window.
Managing rules from the Automation page
The Automation page gives you full visibility into all your rules, making it easy to monitor, manage, and optimize them. Here, you can quickly find key details such as the Last and Next Run times, the date each rule was created, the storefronts associated with each rule, and more—all in one centralized view.
To tailor the dashboard to your needs, use the Columns menu to add or remove fields, so you’re only seeing the most relevant information. This helps you stay focused and organized while managing multiple rules at once.
With just a few clicks, you can edit, duplicate, or remove rules to keep them up to date. You can also access the Rule logs to review a detailed history of actions and outcomes, providing valuable insights into each rule’s execution.

Managing rules from the Ads Manager
You can also effortlessly view and edit your rules from the Active Rules column on the Campaigns, Ad groups, Ad group settings, Keywords, or Search Terms dashboards.
From the Active Rules column, you can:
✔️ View all active rules, see their schedule or runs and creation date.
✔️ Edit rules or change their status with a single click.
✔️ Quickly access Rule logs and Change History.
By clicking on the expand button you can access more in-depth information about each active rule and manage it directly from the pop-up window: pause, edit, view logs, and access Change History in one click.
If you want to focus on specific objects linked to a particular rule on the dashboard, simply apply a filter for that rule. This will instantly refine the view, making it easier to analyze relevant data.
Note. If a rule was created at the campaign level, it will appear in the Active Rules column on the Campaigns dashboard. Similarly, rules created at the ad group level will be shown on the Ad Groups dashboard.
