How to link Qonversion (Partner Integration)

Step-by-step guide on how to configure integration between Qonversion and SplitMetrics Acquire.

Qonversion sends subscription events, including purchases, subscriptions after free trials, renewals, refunds, and others to the integrated partners. This allows you to power your marketing and attribution platforms, as well as product analytics and retention tools, with accurate in-app subscription data.

❗Important

  • Before setting up the integration with SplitMetrics Acquire, ensure that you have configured integration with Apple Ads in your Qonversion account and can view events attributed to this media source on the Qonversion dashboard.

  • If you have several apps for which you need to receive installs and post-install events, repeat the below steps for each app.

  • We start receiving installs and events once you have correctly completed the integration setup between SplitMetrics Acquire and Qonversion.

  • Don't forget to create custom conversions for your in-app events to finalize the integration.


1. Log into your Qonversion account.

2. Navigate to your IOS App Integrations tab > Attributions section:

  • Go to the Integrations section in your Qonversion project.

  • Select SplitMetrics Acquire from the list of available integrations.



3. Fill out your Client ID 🔗 Learn how to find your Client ID and your App ID in the corresponding fields in the Integration Details section.

💡 You can specify how the SplitMetrics integration will be named in the Qonversion platform by filling in the “title used to display in Qonversion” field.

4. Configure Global Event Preferences.

  • Send Revenue Properties: Leave this enabled to receive revenue values. Disable only if you do not require revenue data.

  • Send Sales as Proceed: Choose whether to send revenue values net of App Stores’ commission (default) or gross.

  • Send Sandbox Events: Activate this toggle if you wish to receive sandbox events during testing.

❗ These settings will serve as the default for all in-app events you receive for this app. However, you can still configure revenue for each event separately. For example, if you enable the Send Revenue Properties toggle at this level but disable it for a specific event, revenue data will not be sent for that event. Individual event settings will always take priority over the default configuration.


5. Configure in-App events you would like to track. For each event, click More options to configure specific settings:

  • Enable Event: Toggle on to include the event in this integration. Turn it off if you do not need it.

  • Send Revenue: Enable or disable sending revenue for this particular event.


Please enable only the events that you plan to track as custom conversions on the SplitMetrics Acquire.

❗ Qonversion only supports sending In-App events. Install postbacks are not supported.


6. Save Your Configuration: Ensure that all settings are as desired and click Add new integration + Save to apply.

​❗Note. The names of Partner events in Qonversion must match the event names added to custom conversions in SplitMetrics Acquire. If they don't match, SplitMetrics Acquire will not recognize or save data for those events.

Once you've configured the integration in Qonversion, go back to SplitMetrics Acquire and create Custom Conversions for the necessary events to track them on the dashboards.

💡Tip: You can find in-app events without Custom Conversions by going to Settings > Integrations and checking the Integrations popup.
