We upgraded detailed Keyword charts with the Bid change history option to help you stay competitive, make more educated bidding decisions, and optimize your search results campaigns.
You can:
Save your time since there's no need to note down bid changes elsewhere.
See how, when, and who changed the CPT bid for any keyword over time.
Find which automated rule affected the bids and adjust it, if necessary.
Define how CPT bid changes impacted the whole performance and main metrics (TTR, Spend, ROAS, etc.) to identify trends for further effective management.
Make data-driven decisions by choosing a bid strategy based on the performance of keywords after the last bid changes.
Hover over the keyword you want to analyze and click the Chart icon.
Add the CPT Bid metric to the chart and select the necessary date range and granularity.
Click Chart Settings > Show annotations.
To see the annotation, hover over the annotation marker and click it. You can open several annotations simultaneously. To close it, click X.
1. Who changed the bid:
By a team member on the SplitMetrics Acquire dashboard: the user's email will be displayed.
By a team member on the Apple Ads native dashboard: Apple Ads API.
By an automated rule: the automated rule's name with the link to its log will be displayed.
By some other changes.
2. How the bid was changed: individually or in bulk, the last and current values.
3. When the bid was changed.
❗Important.
1. You can see only the last change of the CPT bid value for the selected granularity. For example, for the weekly granularity, you will see the last change for the week, even if there were several bid changes previously during this week.
2. You can observe how the bid changes only for one keyword at a time. Change history is not available when comparing several keywords.
3. If a certain rule performed a change, you can click its name to see the change log of this rule and find how it affected the bid.
☝️ You can add other metrics to the chart, for example, Impressions, CPA, ROAS, etc., by clicking the Plus icon. This enables you to track bid changes' impact on volume and performance.
With the help of charts, you can also:
Compare up to 8 various metrics at once.
Easily compare various metrics in absolute or relative terms: CR, TTR (%) with revenue, spend (value) and impressions, and taps (number).
Add labels to the graphs.
And even more history log features are coming soon!
