βData Integration is accessible exclusively for users who have activated the Data Feeds solution in Branch. For more details, refer to the Branch Help Center.
Branch Integration Setup
To set up integration between your SplitMetrics Acquire account and Branch, follow the steps:
1. Log in to your Branch account: https://dashboard.branch.io/login.
2. Navigate to Configure > Data Feeds > Data Integrations.
3. Select SplitMetrics Acquire | Formerly SearchAdsHQ Data Integration in the Partners section.
4. Enter your Client ID π Learn how to find your Client ID
5. Click Enable.
Once the setup is completed, you will start getting Apple Ads attributed Postbacks data from Branch.
π‘Note. You need to repeat these steps for every app connected to SplitMetrics Acquire.
π‘Note. Once you've configured the integration in Branch, go back to SplitMetrics Acquire and create custom conversions for the necessary events to track them on the dashboards.
π‘Tip: You can find in-app events without Custom Conversions by going to Settings > Integrations and checking the Integrations popup.

Branch Partner Integration Update
To ensure correct application of any changes made to the template, such as adding or removing parameters, to the existing integration settings, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Ads > Partner Management in your Branch account.
Search for and select SplitMetrics Acquire.
βBack Up Enabled Events: Before making changes, ensure you have a backup of all enabled events (such as Install, Purchase, etc).
βClick Reset all settings to reset the integration settings.
Temporarily disable the partner integration to apply the reset.
Re-Enable the Partner: Once the reset is complete, re-enable the partner integration
Re-add Postbacks: Add the postbacks again to reflect the new changes, including any new macros added or removed.
βVerification: Ask our Support team to double-check the postbacks to ensure that they are set up correctly with the new macros.
π‘Note. The above steps are necessary only if you need the changes to be applied to existing connections. For new connections, these changes will be automatically added by default.
