Managing Expenses with Daily Budget

All you need to know about managing your Daily Budget in SplitMetrics Aсquire.

Written by Alyona

When creating your campaign, you specify a daily budget to show how much money you want to spend per day on average for the duration of one month.

💰 Apple Ads algorithms distribute the budget evenly throughout the month. The amount you spend throughout the month will not exceed your daily budget multiplied by the average number of days, which is calculated as 30.4 days in a calendar month. If there is a chance of extra downloads, you may spend more than your daily budget during the day.

Your campaign will continue to spend every month based on your daily budget amount, unless you pause it, remove it, or set an end date. If you set an end date, you won’t spend more than the total number of days in the campaign times your daily budget.

Calculating your monthly budget

If, for example, you were to set a daily budget of $100.00, your total spend over the course of a month would be no more than $3040.00.

Let’s say you want to increase your daily budget to $200.00 midway through September, leaving 15 additional spend days out of 30 in that month. Your spend calculation for the remaining days would be: 30.4 x (15/30) x 200 = $3,040.00.

👀 It’s also important to keep in mind that if you increase your budget, the adjustment will take effect the same day. But if you decrease it, the adjustment can only take effect beginning the next day.
