We are continuously working to make your ad management process smoother and more effective. To that end, we have expanded our list of bulk edit actions, which will enable you to target your ads more precisely and optimize your advertising efforts.
With these bulk edit actions, you can easily change the customer type, age range, and gender for multiple ad groups at once, allowing you to save time and streamline your workflow. This feature is especially useful when scaling up or expanding to new storefronts, as it allows you to efficiently update targeting criteria in bulk. By quickly adapting your advertising strategies to effectively reach the right audience in new markets, you can achieve better results from your campaigns.
How exactly does it work?
1. Begin by navigating to the Ad Groups or Ad Group Settings level and selecting the ad groups that you wish to modify.
2. From there, click Quick Edit and select the necessary option.
3. Once the pop-up window appears, you can choose from the following options:
For customer type
All users: All prospective, former, and current customers of your app.
New users: This customer type maximizes the number of your conversions that will come from first-time downloaders of your app.
Returning users: Customers who have previously downloaded your app.
Note. Users of my other apps option is not supported in the customer types.
For age range
Choose All or set a specific range.
For gender
Select All, Male, or Female.
4. Click Continue to preview.
5. Take a moment to review the information to ensure that everything is accurate.
When reviewing and editing changes, it is important to double-check the following information related to ad groups:
Ad groups. Make sure that the correct ad groups are selected and that they match the intended changes.
Current values. Check that the current values for each ad group are accurately reflected.
New values. Ensure that the new values for each ad group are correct and will achieve the desired outcome.
Statuses. Check for two types of statuses:
- If the changes are successful, the status should indicate "Ready to Apply."
- If the ad group does not support the selected target setting, an error message will appear. In this case, you will need to select a different customer type.
If you need to edit any value, click ⬅️ Back and make the necessary changes. By carefully reviewing and checking these details, you can ensure that your changes are accurate and effective.
6. Finally, if everything looks good, click the Apply changes button to save your modifications.
