Changing the CPT bid and the match type of keywords when adding them to a certain ad group or campaign
Go to the keywords level and filter out the keywords in a particular ad group or campaign. Select the keywords you would like to change and click Actions. In the drop-down menu, select Add as keywords.
Select where you want to add the keywords.
You can:
Add keywords to the selected ad groups.
Add keywords to all ad groups in the selected campaign.
❗ By adding the Ad Group CPA Cap metric to your Keywords dashboard, you can easily view and manage both CPT bids and CPA caps in one place to gain a more comprehensive understanding about your ad group performance. The CPA cap establishes a maximum bid for all keywords in the ad group, defining the amount you're willing to spend per conversion:
For example, you might add the broad match keywords we selected to the exact ad group in the generic campaign as exact match keywords and set higher bids for them.
Once you've made your choices, click Select to continue.
The keywords will be transferred with the default CPT bid of $1. To adjust bids, select the checkboxes next to the keywords, then either enter your preferred values directly using inline editing or click Edit Bid to modify the bids in bulk.
Choose the desired option from the dropdown menu to change the Match Type for keywords individually or in bulk.
Tip 💡 Handle multiple keywords at once using our latest Select All feature in the Keywords Dashboard of the Ads Manager:
Now, you can easily select keywords across all pages in the grid view and also apply Change CPT Bid actions to all selected keywords at once. This enhancement will streamline your workflow and save you time by allowing bulk adjustments effortlessly.
After setting a new bid and Match Type, click Add (N) Keywords.
