What is a Custom Conversion?

❗In Apple Ads, conversion = install, meaning the moment when a user clicks the Get button (a download in our terms). However, downloading is not the final goal. So in SplitMetrics Acquire, we use the term Custom Conversion.

In SplitMetrics Acquire, custom conversion is a configuration that helps you define what conversion is in your case and what events should be counted as conversions.

Conversion tracking helps you see how effectively your ad clicks lead to app installs and in-app activity (for example, in-app purchases, subscriptions, leads signups, or any other in-app events).
